Pottery

The girls painted me some pottery vases for Mother's Day. We just picked them up this week and they turned out beautiful!

Hannah painted a heart shapped vase-

I just love them and can't wait to get some flowers and start using them!

Softball games

We made it to the last two Iowa softball home games. The girls love going, especially Hannah, she wants to play softball for Iowa someday too!

Claire was so good at the last game, it was nap time but she just went to sleep on Matt and slept through the entire game!

Hannah loves Herky.  She's wearing the Iowa Softball t-shirt she caught during the game the day before!

After the last game all the girls were down on the field signing autographs.  Hannah had to run down and get the entire teams signatures, but she especially wanted Johnnie's!

Hannah was sad softball season was over, she can't wait till next season!

Family Park

The girls took me to the park for Mother's Day, and I'm finally getting around to posting those pictures.  We had a great time getting to spend the day as a family, my first Mother's Day since becoming a mother that I didn't have to spend the entire day away from my family at work!

Claire wanted to "catch" Hannah at the bottom of the slide like we do for her-

Cupcakes

Hannah wanted to take cupcakes to school to celebrate her birthday before the school year was finished. She looked through some YouTube videos on cupcake decorating and decided on some fun sunflower cupcakes that looked easy.

Hannah really thought she'd be able to whip them out herself after watching the video-

Turns out it's a little harder than it looks-

She had fun trying though-

I finished them up and the kids at her school loved them!

Sweet Baby

 I can't resist a sleeping baby, melt my heart every time!

Park

The girls and I enjoyed a beautiful day at the park!

They both love playing in the sand.
