Happy 2nd Birthday Rylin!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my little niece Rylin! It's hard to believe that two years have gone by since you joined our family, and then it seems like you've been around forever! I'll never forget watching your birth, how excited Hannah was to have a baby girl in the family, the way Uncle Andy jogged all the way to the hospital just to see you the night you were born . . . WE love you! Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Park Adventures

There is something extra exciting about playing at a new park, and we found a cool one today in Iowa City. Lots of sand, tunnels, and flowers. We picked up lunch to eat at the park,(they both love Jimmy Johns)

and then the girls played for over an hour. Claire got to play in the sand for the first time (thank goodness for wet wipes and hand sanitizer)and she loved it!!




Of couse she did some "so bigs" and got sand in her hair too, so she got two baths for the day, and she wasn't a fan of crawling in the sand, so she bear crawled, silly girl!

There were lots of pretty picture taking spots too! Hannah had found some older kids to play with, so she didn't really want any part of the photo session, but Claire can't crawl that fast, so I got some of her, lol!

No fear!

Claire is such a little dare devil, I swear she has no fear of falling or getting hurt at all! She's such a little monkey, climbing and getting into trouble where ever she can! She loves climbing the stairs, and even the gate can't keep her from practicing the bottom step over and over again!



She's also been working on her balance, practicing standing on her own all the time, she can get to standing without holding onto anything!
And she was cracking me up at the park the way she tucked her feet up into the swing!

Cousins/friends

My neice, Adrienne came up with my mom for a visit last weekend, Hannah always like spending time with her cousins! Between the pool, movies, eating out, going to the park, and doing lots of craft projects we kept the girls pretty busy, but they had a lot of fun too!

Fritz's

While we were in Kansas City we stopped for lunch at a fun little diner called Fritz's. Little electric trains run all around the top of the restaurant, and your dinner is brought to you by the train! So much FUN! Hannah watched excitedly as all the trains traveled by us, waiting impatiently for the one that would stop at our table and deliver our food!

Fun in the Sun

Today we went to the library, met Matt for some ice cream down town, and cooled off by the fountain in the ped mall! It's either been storming or hot and muggy here lately, but we've been trying to make the best of it!




While Hannah played in the fountain, Claire watched. I could see in her eyes that she just can't wait for the day when she can join in too

She was stylin' in some new shoes too!!

My friend Jess's grandma crocheted these adorable booties for Claire, and I love them! I adore baby booties! There is something about them I just can't resist!




Claire loves them too!


Oh, and look how big she is!!
