We made a stop at the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium while in Dubuque. The kids got to step into a workshop where there were carving a boat by hand from a tree!
Taking a turn floating down the river on some strapped together logs-
Claire got up to the wheel of this ship and yelled "Climb aboard Maty's!" No idea where she comes up with these thing!
Hannah tried her hand at "noodling" a catfish!
Enchanted by the aquarium-
Found her own little spot in a cave-
They had a great time at the aquarium, so much water life for learning and exploring!
