Camping - Memorial Day Weekend

Camp all set up, and ready!

 

We were waiting for Katie's family to arrive, so we made a trip to the playground-

 

More waiting...The girls were anxious for their cousins to arrive! (I think the smoke from the fire was blowing in her eyes)

 

Dinner-

Roasting marshmallows!  In making her look at me for a picture I caused her to catch her marshmallows on fire - sorry!

 

Then, it started raining-

 

The kids entertained themselves in the tent and camper for a few hours while it poured-

 

We made it through one chilly night, where Claire slept with her head half under her pillow to stay warm-

 

By then it was lightening and really storming, so we headed back to my house for the rest of the weekend.  We were disappointed about not getting to camp, but had just as much fun hanging out together indoors!
