Building Bears

Hannah had gotten a gift card to Build A Bear as a birthday gift from one of her friends and has been itching to get into the store and use it up! As a reward for letting Matt wiggle on her loose teeth we took a trip out to the mall and both girls made bears (actually a Panda and a Puppy). We couldn't leave little sister out, she always wants to do what Hannah does and she was so excited to copy Hannah and make her Puppy - her first build a bear experience!

Claire chose her puppy all by herself, we showed her several different options and each time she'd grab the puppy out of the choices.  She helped fill him herself, stepping on the presser that put stuffing into the pup-

She chose a heart for him and gave it a kiss to fill him with love-

then stuffed it in her puppy-

All done - so excited!

Hannah chose a panda.  She's an old pro at this and knew just what to do.  Here she's helping stuff him-

She rubbed her heart to jump-start it-

I can't remember what rubbing on her nose was for - but it was cute -

then they gave their bears an air bath and brushing-

I love how Claire watches to see what Hannah does and then copies her, she looks up to big sister so much-

Claire really got into this part, reaching up on her tiptoes.  Don't ask my why she's only wearing one shoe, silly girl-

Ready to check out.  Hannah had to pay herself with her gift card which she's been keeping in her new wallet - so big-

This last picture is just Hannah explaining something about her bear to Claire when they woke up the next morning.  I don't know what it was, but I love how Claire is so rapt by everything Hannah has to say-
