Making homemade pizza together is one of my girls favorite dinners. Even Claire can get in on the action, and they love to be able to eat their creations!
Hannah got really creative and made her pizza look like a snowman -
Our favorite Crust recipe comes from the LLL cookbook Mother's in the Kitchen.
PIZZA CRUST-
1 pkg. yeast
3/4 cup warm water
1 T. oil
1 t. sugar
1 t. salt
2cups unbleached flour
Add yeast to warm water and let stand for 5 minutes. Then add other ingredients, stirring after each. Add flour 1 cup at a time. Beat until blended into a dough. Place in warm bowl, lightly covered and let raise 1 hour. Roll out on floured surface to desired thickness. Top as desired and bake at 450degrees for about 15-20 minutes. This recipe makes 1 pizza, so double or triple depending on how many pizzas are needed. It's very forgiving and tastes awesome!

Your posts are so refreshing at times- what is really important. I too think our kids love homemade pizza- FYI at Rock Bottom Brewery the kids got to make their own pizza at the table and then they brick oven grilled the pizzas. Try it next time your in Chicago :).
