In Marathon Florida, where we were staying in the Keys, there was a turtle hospital just down the road from us. My mom and the girls and I went and checked it out one morning.
They have a museum area, gave a very informative lecture, and gave us a tour of the hospital. I learned more about sea turtles than you can imagine!

and then this was in the actual hospital. They have lots of separate tanks to keep the turtles separated when they first get to the hospital and are helping them, and there is also a big tide pool where the turtles on their way to being rehabilitated live.
This guy had only one lung due to an injury from a boat, so when he took a breath it was with a lot of effort. When he popped his head up to breath Hannah was standing right in front of him and he spit in her face trying to breathe, so funny.
So much fun, I recommend checking it out if you're ever in Marathon. The whole hospital is run from donations and the money they make giving tours.
