Campin'

Clairie likes to go "campin'" just as much as she likes to go "bowlin'" and has been begging to go since we got our new camper last week! 

We tried out the campground at Lake Macbride last week - here is our little home away from home!

The girls decided a game of cards in the new camper was a great idea while Matt and I got everything set up!

Cooking was much easier on the cook stove than the open fire, the food cooked quick and the girls ate great!

We had potty issues with Claire the last time we camped.  A couple of accidents because she was totally offended by the thought of going in the grass, but couldn't always make it all the way up the hill to the bathrooms.  This time we got the idea to take along the little potty and it worked so great, especially in the middle of the night!

Roasting marshmallows- Claire had lots of fun roasting marshmallows, even though she refuses to eat one!

We had a mostly peaceful night of sleep and little Claire slept in like a champ!  Sleeping babies melt my heart!

We tried our hand at making out own doughnut holes for breakfast.  They were okay, not as great as I was hoping-

Lake Macbride was fun, I'm sure we'll be back!
