We had a great St. Patty's Day. The weather was beautiful, the warmest we've had yet and the girls were in great moods. Perfect little angels.
We woke up to quite the mess. It looks like some leprechauns had snuck into the house overnight turning things green and leaving a trail of gold dust. At least they left behind a little treat for the girls!
Then we headed to Cedar Rapids for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. We had a picnic lunch while waiting for the parade to start. Hannah loved her shamrock shaped sandwich-
and rainbow jello.-
Having friends to spend the day with makes everything more fun!
rainbow cupcakes for dessert too!
Claire sat in her stroller to eat, just watching all the people--
To pass the time waiting for the parade, hannah made some rainbow fruit loop necklaces-
finally it was time for the parade to start. Claire stayed close to Hannah's side-
Claire loved all the puppy dogs - even the GREEN ones!
After the parade it was off to the park, because we can't let a beautiful afternoon go to waste!
Claire tried so hard to climb the rock wall-
My little monkey girl climber this ladder and made it all the way onto the equipment!
What a fun day! It only would have been better if Matt had been able to be off work to spend it with us too!
